In short however, keyword research boils down to finding opportunities that have modest competition, but high potential volume. You’ll also want your keywords to indicate “buyer intent” when possible, and location information to assist with Google Maps discovery.
So rather than picking the keyword “computers”, if you’re running a computer repair shop, you’d be better served selecting something along the lines of “computer repair, Los Angeles”.
